Distance Learning Student Orientations Comming Up

For Summer II 07 Semester

If you are new to distance learning or if you would just like an overview of the Blackboard and Educator course management systems that you will be using, come to a student orientation at any of the campuses.  The sessions are drop-in so you don't need an appointment but you will need to come in on the days that they are offered.  Check out the schedule at http://www.oaklandcc.edu/DL/orientations.htm

In many cases, attending an orientation session is voluntary. However, please check with your instructor and inquire if participation is mandatory for your class. Please also note that your instructor may have an orientation to the course that is different from these orientations.

          If you are unable to attend an on-site orientation, we also offer an online version that is available at your convenience. Simply log-in to your respective CMS and you will see the Student Orientation course already listed.
