Last Chance at Distance Learning Orientations for Summer II Semester

Your last chance to take part in Distance Learning Orientations for the Summer II 07 semester in Blackboard and Educator will be at the Highland Lakes and Orchard Ridge campuses tomorrow (7/3) from 9:00am till12:00pm and then 1:00pm till 4:00pm.

Distance Learning Orientations for Blackboard and Educator will be held at the Auburn Hills, Royal Oak, and Southfield campuses from 9:00am till12:00pm and then 1:00pm till 4:00pm.

Distance Learning Student Orientations Comming Up

For Summer II 07 Semester

If you are new to distance learning or if you would just like an overview of the Blackboard and Educator course management systems that you will be using, come to a student orientation at any of the campuses.  The sessions are drop-in so you don't need an appointment but you will need to come in on the days that they are offered.  Check out the schedule at http://www.oaklandcc.edu/DL/orientations.htm

In many cases, attending an orientation session is voluntary. However, please check with your instructor and inquire if participation is mandatory for your class. Please also note that your instructor may have an orientation to the course that is different from these orientations.

          If you are unable to attend an on-site orientation, we also offer an online version that is available at your convenience. Simply log-in to your respective CMS and you will see the Student Orientation course already listed.          

Passwords

We seem to be getting a lot of comments on the password post that was posted on May 14th. In all of these comments folks are asking for new Blackboard passwords. You can not ask for a  new Blackboard password in the comment section of this blog.

If you have forgotten your Blackboard password you must fill out the form at http://www.oaklandcc.edu/bb/support/password.htm and your password will be reset.

If you have never been issued a Blackboard or Educator password then please speak with your instructor.
